PVT. Michael Andrew Baloga was killed in action on July 26, 2007, in Mugdadiyah, Iraq. He was assigned to the 6th squadron, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.
He was born October 30, 1985, in Sedro Woolley, Washington, the son of Robert and Linda Baloga. Michael served in the US Army from November 7, 2006 until his death.
He loved to spend time with his daughter Isis and his friends and family. Michael was a young man that would do for anyone without asking for repayment. All he met loved him. Michael was a wonderful son, father, and a fantastic brother and a hero to many. His wife, Mellissa; 20-month-olf daughter, Isis; his parents, Robert and Linda Baloga; two brothers, Jeremiah and Jacob Nydoske; two sisters, Linnea Baloga and Leah Valade, all survive Michael.
His biological mother, Mary Neslund preceded him in death.
